Check out the Lead Magnet I made and broadcasted over 6 Social Media Networks in less than 30 minutes.
How did I do it? I’ll show you.
How I took 1 evergreen blog post and created more than 10 pieces of content on 6 social media networks in under 30 minutes.
Step 1. I went to Designrr and chose create new project and entered the URL of the blog post had on one of my sites. (1 minute)
Step 2. I chose a template and it created the e-book. I edited the title, added my name and removed a few extra elements it pulled from the blog post. (3 minutes)
Step 3. Though it looked pretty good, I made some changes to the template to match my branding and changed the theme (preset colors and fonts). (10 minutes)
Step 4. I added a call to action by dragging and dropping the call to action element to the last page. (2 minute)
Step 5. I went in to Click Funnels and created a new funnel to collect emails. I linked this page to my CTA section in Designrr. (1o minutes)
Step 6. I downloaded the PDF out of Designrr and uploaded it to SlideShare. Clicked all the share buttons and shared on Facebook page, Facebook group, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn and Pinterest. I could have shared to more (especially targeted to Facebook and LinkedIn Groups which I suggest you do. (2 minutes)
NOTE: Within about 10 minutes I had over 80 views on my SlideShare account.
How long it took: 28 minutes
What I repurposed: 1 blog post
What I made:
1 pdf e-book with email capture call to action
1 slide deck with email capture on SlideShare
1 funnel built to collect emails
3 Facebook Posts (Shared to Torie Mathis page and Facebook Groups)
1 LinkedIn Post
1 Google+ Post
1 Twitter Post
1 Pinterest Post
Embeddable Slide Deck and Facebook posts
COST: FREE (Designrr offers 14 free day trial/$37 per month after)
I used Click Funnels, but the same thing could happen with a landing page on your website and a free mail chimp account.
It was simple and quick to make so many items for free and to be out on 6 social media networks in less than 30 minutes. If I added to Edgar it would be added to my library queue and it would go out to all my social media networks forever.
This was my first time using Designrr, and I liked it. I could do everything a bit faster if I used it a few more times. It was overall pretty easy to use, since it imported the post from the URL, but taking out the little extras was annoying. It may be easier to cut and paste. I would recommend it if you see yourself making several e-books or lead magnets from post per month to make up the $37 per month. Or just organize yourself and make several during the free trial.
Here is one of the Facebook posts embedded (driving traffic back to my website).
I used this simple, generic example, but imagine what you could do with something your target market really wants? Having all these eyes on your lead magnet, collecting emails, driving traffic to your website… There is power in the strategy, and power in digital marketing.
